Its been a while on here! My feet however have barely touched the floor the past few months and I have lots to blog about :) We will also be seeing a change to things as I have decided I want to cover the whole of the UK. There are many beautiful horses and locations all over and I don't want to be limited in my passion for my work.
Which brings me to this blog. I have some lovely sessions to share with you (and if you follow my Facebook page you will be able to keep super up to date) but I wanted to talk about this particular type of image which I try to include in all of my sessions.
A couple of years ago going into this business I was particularly inspired by the portrait of the horse against a invisible black background. The manipulation of light both natural and artificial. At the time it seemed so far out of my skill set. But I vowed to myself I would learn and master this. And this year has seen huge growth in this and with each and every session I became more confident in both the shooting and the editing. Constant trial and error.
I now can passionately offer this to my clients on pretty much every session as long as I have a stable door, I get such a happy tingly feeling from these photographs as yes I love the natural portraits, loose schooling and the ridden photos but this one image is always my favourite. I can feel the individual personalities from the images and I know I am giving my clients something special and beautiful.
These are the wall art images.
These are the images to be blown up and framed and forever enjoyed.
